Refund Policy

If you have any pre-purchase questions or hesitations, please drop us a line first and we’ll shoot you a quick response.

Because most issues can be worked out before a refund is necessary, refunds will only be considered on a case-by-case basis after we’ve worked with you to try and find a solution within two weeks of your purchase. With a 1% refund rate, we’re confident we can work it out! Refunds will not be given for Theme Club memberships or subscription renewals, so please contact us with any pre-purchase questions.

Due to the nature of digital goods, we recognize that this policy can be abused, and reserve the right to refuse refunds if we determine the refund policy is being taken advantage of.


Customers have the option of choosing to pay via PayPal or any major credit card. Each theme purchase grants you 1-year access to ongoing theme updates, support and in some themes, Typekit fonts. After 1 year, to continue providing you with top notch support and updates that ensure your theme works with the latest version of WordPress, we’ll renew your subscription automatically. You may opt out of renewing your theme license at any time by visiting your SnapThemes dashboard and going to the Subscriptions tab.

For your security, we do not store your credit card or payment information on our site.

Only after your purchase has been completed and payment has been received will you be granted access to your theme downloads and support. That’s just the way it is!

Basically: Each theme requires a yearly renewal to continue getting theme updates and support. You may opt out of renewing your theme at any time.


Each purchase is sold as an automatically recurring subscription that renews on the anniversary of your purchase date. This applies to single theme purchases and the yearly Theme Club, but not the Lifetime Theme Club, which is a one-time purchase.

Your subscription will renew at the end of the annual license term unless you cancel the subscription via the Subscriptions page in your SnapThemes Dashboard prior to the automatic renewal date. The renewal price will be the price as published at the time of initial purchase, exclusive of any discounts.

No refunds are available for automatic renewal payments. You will receive an email prior to your automatic renewal date with ample notice to cancel your subscription if you no longer wish to receive updates and support for your themes.

Basically: Your subscription will renew yearly until you cancel it. We’ll send you a reminder about the upcoming renewal so you have enough time to act accordingly.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will SnapThemes, or its suppliers or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of data or profit, arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the materials offered on this site. Even if SnapThemes or an authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. If your use of downloads from this site results in the need for servicing, repair, or correction of equipment or data, you assume any costs thereof.

Basically: We provide you with awesome WordPress themes, but you are ultimately responsible for what you do with our themes. Use them safely and responsibly.


Our products are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. We do not guarantee that themes will work in all browsers, nor do we guarantee that our themes will be functional with all versions of WordPress. We do not guarantee compatibility with any additional third party plugins, scripts, or applications.

Basically: We can’t guarantee our themes will work in outdated versions of WordPress or with every plugin out there. We test our products against the most recent versions of WordPress to ensure compatibility.

Product Support

Each purchase grants you access to SnapThemes’s support service, which covers help with setting up your product and direction on how to use the product as advertised. SnapThemes’s support service does not cover help with theme or plugin customization beyond the advertised features. This means that we aren’t able to support This support service is valid for 1 year from the date of your purchase and will be automatically renewed when the year is up. Optionally, you may opt out of renewing your license by visiting the Subscriptions page in your SnapThemes Dashboard. We’ll send you a helpful reminder when it’s time to renew.

Basically: Each purchase comes with 1 year of support and updates.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and purchase, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with your account. You must immediately notify SnapThemes of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. SnapThemes will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.

Basically: Keep your account secure by using smart password practices. Let us know immediately if you think your account has been compromised or tampered with.


SnapThemes may terminate your access to all or any part of the website at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. If you wish to terminate this agreement or your SnapThemes account (if you have one), you may simply discontinue using the website. All provisions of this agreement which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Basically: If we find you’ve broken the agreement, we can suspend or terminate your account. No funny business.


Affiliates must agree to our terms before participating in our affiliate program.

Tax Forms

Affiliates must submit a W-9 or W-8BEN tax form before being accepted into the affiliate program. SnapThemes is legally required to collect a W-9 (US affiliate) or a W-8BEN (non-US affiliate) before any affiliate commissions are paid out. You will only have to submit this once and the form can be digitally filled out and signed in a matter of minutes.

Discount Codes

Discount codes may not be advertised by affiliates. Discount codes are for solely for our customers to benefit from, not affiliates. Misrepresenting or inaccurately promoting products by SnapThemes will result in nonpayment and/or account termination.

Affiliates may not purchase SnapThemes products using their affiliate referral code.

Affiliate Payments

Because we offer a money-back guarantee on our products, affiliate payments will only be made after the 30 day refund window for the sale has passed. For example, if you made 5 successful referrals in November, you would receive payment for 5 referrals at the end of December. All affiliate payments are processed at the end of each month.

Each affiliate must make 3 successful referral sales before getting their first payment.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

SnapThemes will monitor each referral transaction to ensure a healthy referral relationship. We encourage affiliates to benefit and prosper alongside us, but we maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward abuse or misuse of our affiliate program. SnapThemes reserves the right to decline payments and/or terminate any affiliate account that we feel may be using dishonest tactics to generate referral sales.

We also reserve the right to terminate any affiliate account at any time for any reason. For example, if we feel you aren’t a good fit for our program, we may terminate your account.


SnapThemes reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this agreement. It is your responsibility to check this agreement periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes to this agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Basically: We may update these Terms and Conditions from time-to-time to better represent our products or services.
